ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ARRIVAL NAIROBI – ABERDARE National Park

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon arrival, please clear Immigrations and Customs formalities. You are carrying E-Visa for Kenya. 

Drive from Nairobi to Aberdare. Check in Freshen up & relax.

Afternoon game drive at Aberdare National Park.

Return to the Lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight at Aberdare. (Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 2: Aberdare National Park 

Early breakfast at the Lodge. 

Morning game drive at Aberdare National Park after breakfast.

Return to lodge for hot lunch.

Afternoon Game drive at Aberdare National Park

Return to the Lodge at sunset, for check-in, dinner and overnight at Aberdare. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 3 to DAY 6: AT MAASAI MARA (03 nights)

In the morning, retrace your steps to Mai Mahiu, turn left towards the Maasai Mara – going past Narok Town (the Maasai Capital). 

Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy your 1st game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, generally acclaimed as the finest game viewing area in the world! 

Return to the Lodge at sunset, for check-in, dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Enjoy an early morning and a late afternoon game viewing drive in the Reserve, with lunches back at the Lodge. (With an option of a full day game viewing drive with packed lunches)

The day is spent in the Reserve in search of its popular residents, like the well-known predators; Lion, Cheetah, Leopard on the one hand and the plentiful plain game like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe and elephants on the other hand. NOT to forget a visit to the Mara River for ubiquitous Crocodiles and Hippos.

All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI 

Leisurely breakfast at the Lodge. 

In the morning, embark on a return drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the early afternoon. We will make a visit to Masai Village enroute.

On arrival, drop off at the Galleria Mall where you can get lunch at the various food stalls available at the mall. Thereafter we will take you to complementary visit to Kazuri Beads for souvenir shopping

Later, transfer to the Karen Blixen house, The Giraffe Centre where you will get to handfeed and take pictures with the Giraffes.

The Karen Blixen house, the Giraffe Centre, the Snake Park and Aviary, the Bomas of Kenya Cultural Centre which presents traditional dances daily, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust- an orphanage for elephants and rhinos which are rehabilitated prior to being released back to the wild, and the Nairobi National Park, home to Kenya’s largest cheetah population and also site of one of the top black rhino sanctuaries in East Africa.

Later in the evening, transfer to your nearby Hotel for overnight.

Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight at TAMARIND TREE HOTEL. (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAY 7: NAIROBI & DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the Hotel. 

Later, check out and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your International departure flight to your hometown. End of Services (Breakfast)

• Game viewing drives, Park entry fees as per the itinerary.
• Mineral water whilst on safari (kindly ensure that you bring your own refillable water bottles; we will have 500ml re-usable bottles available for purchase at US$/Euro 10 per bottle which will be donated to a conservation cause).
• Flying Doctors medical evacuation cover. 
• Safari Hats and Luggage tags made by Self-help Groups (Former Street Children).
